After numerous series of ‘liberalisations’, the head of juak-juak yesterday announced a National Scholarship scheme which will purely be awarded based on meritocracy.

Good.

But let us not forget that even without this scholarship, many, if not all of the non-Malaya-origin-people can afford sending their children to overseas for studies, as they are generally more affluent. After all, I have got so many ex-scholarmates who opted to dishonour the 10-year bond and repay the penalty of RM360,000 instead.

And the Malay, being themselves less financially capable (mainly due to the wrong attitute and aptitute, inadequate appropriation of tithe money and the fuc*ed up NEP) will find themselves having less privileges even for sending their children for private tuition.

Let us also not forget that 30% allocation for M&B is not that much considering that the population in this lovely nation clearly shown that Malay and Bumiputra comprises of 60% of the national population.

And the juak-juak under the new regime whose purported onus is to hold the rights of ‘peribumi’ up, has not done its job well but letting itself being squashed to a corner by the non-Malaya-origin people and simply succumbed to their request.

I might be thought of as a shallow-minded-racist here, but if you properly and rationally look at the socio-economy and demography that is naturally inherent in our nation-building process, meritocracy isn’t always be the best parsimonious and prudent solution.

To juak-juak and non-Malaya-origin-people, let us not be too coward and greed, for greed oft loses both itself and friends, and cowardness dulls the edge of leadership prowess.

And juak-juak, being as chauvinist as they have always been, keep on blindly oppressing its rival, failing to see a bigger picture of things. 1Malaysia should have closed the social gap by guaranteeing long term equitable distribution of wealth, but not a short-term merit based distribution, of which in long run will result in a wider disparity among races.
