Hmm…in a total boring mood today.

Months of waiting, and the car hasn’t came out just yet. A friend who bought C-class (equipped with 6 air bags, ABS, EBD, ESP and BAS, NECK-PRO and all the ABCs that you can imagine) got his car in two months time, and Proton, being a national car-maker takes almost 3 months to finish one car with only 2 air bags, ABS, EBD, and leather seats.

Notwithstanding with the demand differential, I hereby give my advice to Proton; Nice job Proton, keep up the work, so you will be outpace and be wipe out from the market in no time. Looking from the bright side, at least Malaysian will then enjoy Honda Civic and Accord at RM78,000 and RM102,000 respectively:)

Colleagues of mine who are going to work with Proton/Perodua must had already listened for quite a number of times to my perpetual ramblings on the national car. Please make no more of the shoddy Juara, Rusa or Kancil.

As the intention of national car industry is to help employment,  please reciprocate the employment opportunity supported by the car buyers by producing a better and more affordable car. In this global market, we cannot tolerate no more with Perdana with the non-taxed price of Accord, Myvi with the non-taxed price of City, Persona with the non-taxed price of Latio etc. If reducing the national car price is not an option, please improve the quality, if not par, at a higher standard than those imported cars.

FYI, an imported complete built unit of Mitsubishi Lancer GS 2.0 is selling at RM119,888 (after import tax) while Perdana is selling at RM101,500 (with gear box to be replaced once a year tehehe:)

Terima kaseh Proton, for ripping off Malaysian…
