Had a lunch with Lopes at Melawati. The briyani is very good, and to elaborate its deliciousness in this humble blog is not sufficient really.
After an hour of political pung-pang with him, went to the newstand nearby, just to check on the latest lies being put up in the mainstream medias, especially Utusan.
Upon entering the small newstand, I spotted various alternative newpapers on the shelve. After browsing through six newspapers, I realised that I had not spotted any Utusan yet so far.
To the cashier I asked "Abang, mana Utusan bang? Takkan laku sangat sampai dah abis?"
"Taklah. Nak ke?"
"Eh tak2. Saya nak tengok je apa cerita dongeng untuk hari ini.Tapi mana ek Utusan tu?" I asked again.
In a very satirical way he replied "Oooo…ada tu haa, kat hujung skali tu. Surat khabar pembangkang menipu rakyat kena lah letak hujung2 sikit….cuba ko alihkan sikit Harakah ngan Siasah tu ke tengah sikit."
"Hahaha…lupa pulak saya….."
LET US BOYCOTT THE MUNAFIQ MAINSTREAM MEDIA
Alhamdulillah, we managed to get 5 states. If KL has its own Dewan Undangan Negeri, the number of states conquered will surely be six.
I am really glad with this result. Especially when it was announced that some veteran faces would not be in parliament anymore. Particular names that I love to hate are Badruldin Amiruldin (UMNO Permanent Chairman), Samy Vellu (ex-Minister of Public Works), Rafidah Aziz (ex-AP Queen), Awang Adek (Kelantan MB wannabee), Zainudin Maidin (ex-Mentri of Propaganda), Kveas and Anuar Musa (you know who…as in Harry Potter tehehe).
Reasons for the BN lost is not difficult to infer. For those who are still in the denial state of the BN defeat, I gladly listed some of the basic reasons:
1) Sexist remarks made in parliament
2) Monyet remarks made by Kveas to Lim Kit Siang
3) Concentration of AP allocations
4) Bumbung bocor in Parlimen, Mahkamah Persekutuan, and Hospital
5) Undermining Kelantanese
6) PPRT money (still an unsolved mystery)
7) Excessive usage of media to provoke voters. They even advertise their party in LRT stations, how pathetic…!! Waste of money really.
8) Corruptions
9) Thanks to Nazri Aziz, many of his actions in Dewan Rakyat contributed to this invaluable victory. His disclaimer as always, "Rakyat dah bagi kami mandat, kami punya suka lah nak buat apa". I hope you realise by now, that the mandate is not merely a blank cheques.
and the list can go endlessly.
Ultimately, the reason for BN lost is that they have forgotten that it is Allah’s power to give power to a party, and to take it from another. And personally I think, racial based political party would not last, at most 10 years time from now.
While Tuan Guru cried seeking for Allah’s help before the election, the UMNO leaders cry after the election. Bukan kerna bertaubat pada Allah, tapi kerna apa yang dikejar tak dapat, yang dikendong berciciran….pity to them.
