LRT in the tunnel
LRT station’s door
Reading today’s email, I was delighted to see the response from Shell with regards to my first stage interview. I am not expecting the result to come so soon really, as during my interview last Thursday, the interviewer asked me for five days response time, which is tomorrow(Tuesday). Great to have a good first impression of the efficiency and timeliness of this MNC.
Alhamdulillah, All praises to God, I managed to pass the first stage of interview, and whenever the preferred position and location of work is available, I will be invited for the Shell Recruitment Day where my technical skills and competency will be tested.
The position that I am aplying for is either a Trader or Corporate Financier, which is the kind of works that I previously expect from the organisation that I am currently working. For the preferred location bit, lets make it a secret of mine for a while until I have got the official offer.
Nevertheless, the connundrum of BNM’s bond seems to be insurmountable. Anybody who can help me out with this, please, I need you to lend me your shoulder….tehehe.
Another experience of mine of another LRT slack this morning: the underground stations doors to get in and out of the train did not open when the train stops throughout Ampang Park to Masjid Jamek, which involved 5 stations (Ampang Park, KLCC, Kampung Baru, Dang Wangi, and Masjid Jamek).
All the stuck commuters and I managed to get out at Masjid Jamek station eventually, after someone forcefully opened the station’s door manually.
A shame indeed, slack upon slack, inefficiency upon inefficiency, and corruption upon corruption(the corruption bit is slightly out of context, but it’s nice to put it here anyway). Another reason to return to Malaysia?
Imagine a fire occur, Are we going to survive in the tunnel? Even if we survive, will we get any compensation? Will the facility be improved? Will someone take the responsibility? And more important, will any particular MINISTER voluntarily resign?
I think the answer for all the questions is simply a big NO!!!!!!
Another reason to balek to Malaysia? ……These repeating questions are purposely posed to provoke many friends of mine, whose atitude immediately become ‘aku tak pedulisme’ like many other Malaysians the moment they touch down at KLIA. Sad…just another wastage of government fiscal spending, sorry to say.
As we are living in a democratic nation with ‘controlled’ freedom, I feel the urge to put this disclaimer: I don’t think I will get any ISA detention for this small rambling of mine. Please forgive me if any ‘readers’ get offended, but please also take action on this writing, not to me, but to the LRT!
