Baru aku sedar, dari 11 highlight berita dalam negeri dalam utusan.com, enam daripadanya melaporkan kemalangan atau kematian.
Someone might ask, other than being government propagation instrument, has utusan side income came from reporting fatal incidence?

On my way back from Liverpool to Bristol today, someone has forgotten his/her Observer, leaving it on the seat next to mine. Me, feeling bored and five more hours of journey to endure, grab the newspaper and read it just to kill the time.

The first 4 pages were dedicated to report the Lebanon war. It even included the intimidating picture of Israeli soldiers singing on their way home from the battlefield. Blair was condemned by his own ministers over his solid support to Bush. Statistic of the war casualities was also given, which is represented in a very informative way.

Not to be satirical, back in my own beloved country, in today’s issue of utusan.com, out of ten topics on the front page, only one was dedicated for the war. That’s one tenth, I repeat, 1/10 of the front page. In addition to that, from ten topics in the ‘Luar negara’ section, only two were for Lebanese war against Israeli soldiers. How shame……..the other nine on the front page are not even related to the war. How in the name of God, when the world is experiencing its difficult war time, we comfortably read about Johor to become a metropolitan in the front page.

I can still remember someone commented about TV2 broadcasted a movie showing US fighter jet outpowering Russian jet. The movie alone is not a problem, but the timing is not quite right. For the love of God, how can this TV channel showed this kind of movie when the US is supplying artileries and missile to Israel? Imagine the feeling of our brothers in Lebanon learning us sitting cozily on comfortable sofa at our home, sipping Coca-Cola, admiring the military technology that US has.

What is really making me laugh but feel shame at the same time is that our beloved government subscribes this very fighter jet produced by Russian, which is defeated by US jet in this film.

Hehehe…how insensitive our country’s medias are…… isn’t it so?

Yes, as always ’tis….

Before you read this entry, enjoy this clip. Thanks to youtube.com.

How stupid these Malay students are. I am not shame to say they are the dumbest and the narrowest minded people ever alive in this world. Realising they are the mahasiswas of one of the largest universities in Malaysia, I dare to say they are the best example for non Muslim (i.e Chinese in this context) to generalise how Muslim react to any adversary. Thanks to those Malay students.

Yelling ( thanks to the fatty wearing the SSBP orange shirt), clapping and yelling and pushing chairs like a lunatic person ( thanks to the specky wearing the purple grey striped shirt); these really are some of their unmature reactions.

I do realise that the Chinese students did make mistake, but the reaction from the Malay student? So horrible, that I myself seeing this clip feel shame to say that I am a Malay.

Go to hell with the Malay, but what beyond it is that Malays are Muslim. This bad attitude do indirectly bring bad perception towards Islam. Kita dok huha huha berbuih mulut dok kata Islam ini agama sejahtera, aman damai, tapi bila tengok student- student ni, alahaai…bikin malu kepada Islam.

How do we Muslim expect the Zionist to respect us Muslim if we ourself in our beloved country do not respect those zimmi Chinese?

I hereby dare to say that, if these Malay students were destined to lead Malaysia ( be it in Umno or PAS) some day with the same kind of reaction and behaviour shown in the clip, I myself will support DAP. At least DAP is not a tribal party. Remember, those who involved in tribalship or assabiyyah will not be admitted by our prophet as one of his followers. Huiyoo….in that case imagine how many Malays are not ummat Muhammad….

Sorry to say to those Malay students, you all really are wasting peoples’ money.

Dan aku pon react macam budak-budak ni…….alahaai….isn’t it sad?

Yes ’tis…..

Upon the arrival of me at my home after two weeks trip to Balkan, a friend of mine informed me that another friend of mine inherited me a book. And the title of the book is ‘ The Road To Makkah’ by Muhammad Asad. He, who reverted to Islam during his soul searching journey in Arab peninsular really wrote this book at the highest level of literature, which I really respect. It is from this book that I learn the ultimate true purpose of travel.

From my observation, regarding to the matter of travelling, Malaysian student in UK can be categorised into two, those who like to travel and those who do not like to travel (yes they do travel, but only to Malaysia for the summer holiday).

It is really sadden me to see most of my fellow friends belongs to the latter, which is not wrong, but from the humble point of view of mine, they really miss a lot of thing.

It is not a collection of nice pictures that I am after, neither a beautiful prospective spouse. But what really urged me to travel is the experience that it teaches me.

Go and see what were left from the previous generation we were told in the Quran, since from it you may learn something. Even a single utterance  of Subhanallah when we see a nice building and mountain can increase iman, and who knows but Allah if this single Subhanallah is our most ikhlas and sincere good deed that will enlight our way to jannah, Insya Allah. Who knows?

A lot of friends knowing I am quite a keen traveller said to me, ‘ Engkau banyak duit boleh laa travel sana sini’.

‘ It is not because of having a large sum of money (which I am really not) that made me a keen traveller my friends, it is because water must move and flow if it is to remain clear and not to become foul’…..And this is the ultimate true purpose of travelling that I learned from this precious book, The Road To Makkah.

Malaysian politics can sometimes be prophesied, and sometimes, it cannot.

On certain matters,  for example, I can darely say that the next prime minister’s name would start with N. Based on the raw observation of mine, the names of all the previous and the current prime minister follow this acronym,

R A H M A N

R stands for RAHMAN ( Tunku Abdul Rahman)

A stands for Abdul Razak ( Tun Abdul Razak)

H stand for Hussein ( Tun Hussein Onn)

M stands for  Mahathir ( Tun Mahathir Mohammad)

A stands for Abdullah ( Dato’ Sri Abdullah Badawi)

N stands for N**** ( a someone that can never be prophesied)

People might ask meself, who else can it be if not Najib ( Dato’ Seri Najib)

Haaaa…this is where the twist of the story comes. Let me explain,

During the Tun Mahathir premiership, many people expected that the next prime minister would be Anwar, whose name starts with A. But unfortunately for those who were expected him to be the next prime minister, this prophesy is indeed incorrect. In fact, the successor is Abdullah ( Dato’ Seri Abdullah)

The same goes to the next prime minister. Nobody really knows which ‘N’ would be the lucky one….hehe

Isn’t it a big connundrum?

Yes ’tis…..
